Pattern Has Changed, 20 Marks Will Be Deducted For One Mistake

Attention UP Board students! Exam pattern has changed, 20 marks will be deducted for one mistake

The Uttar Pradesh Education Board announced a change in the exam pattern on Wednesday before the 10th class board exam. Students will have to answer a total of 70 questions in the UP Board Class 10th Exam.

Out of this, 50 questions will be descriptive while 20 questions will be objective. In simple language, they will have to answer the descriptive questions in writing, while the objective questions will be in multiple choice question format. In such a situation, OMR sheets will also be given to the students for multiple choice questions during the Board Exam.

The UP Board said in its statement that objective questions of 20 marks will be asked in the UP Board 10th Class Exam. These questions will have to be answered in the OMR sheet. This will be the first time, when students will have to write the answers in the OMR sheet along with the answer booklet. The thing to note here is that if the students forget to fill the OMR sheet by mistake, then their entire 20 marks will be deducted. In such a situation, students have to fill the OMR sheet carefully during the board exam. The evaluation of OMR sheet will be done through computer.

Sample OMR sheet uploaded on website

Instructions regarding answering on the OMR sheet have already been issued by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP).
